It is a ropeway across the Brahmaputra River. It connects the Northern and Southern banks of Guwahati. If you are new to Guwahati, you should know that the main city is mostly on the Southern side while the Northern side is growing somewhat nowadays.

The ropeway gives a panoramic view of Guwahati, the Brahmaputra, and the surrounding hills.
